Buggy 2 in 1 - Which Type is Right For You?
2 in 1 prams -in-1 provides you with the option of switching from city strolling to offroading - and many other modes to make your life with your child a lot simpler! But which type to choose?
Modular seats are independent of the frame and offer instant swivelability to the parents or to face forward facing your child. Most of them recline as well.
Full Size
Our go(tm) inline(r) version of the buggy 2 in 1 is perfect for newborns at the age of day with a range of recline levels that are infinite for naps & a full lie flat bed right outta the box. The seat is comfortably and is situated in the right position to give an excellent weight distribution and center of gravity, so you can effortlessly bounce across any kerb. It folds neatly and neatly, and can be tucked away in the car boot! And when your children want to go on their own it can easily be converted to a smooth go(tm) single.
Umbrella
There are a few 2 in 1 umbrella buggy options on the market. Compared to the other models in our collection, they are typically smaller and lighter when folded. Our favorite models are the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo and the Delta Children LX side by side. Both are stylish and sleek and have some of the most storage space. They also come with reclining seats and leg rests. But, they're missing certain features we consider not essential for a stroller of this size.
3-Wheel
A 3-wheel buggy is the best option for all-terrain adventure, especially when it comes to offroad conditions. They are larger than a regular buggy, and also have larger tyres. This allows them to have more grip and stability for rough terrain. They can change direction at a single click and are simple to steer using just one hand.
The appeal of a 3-wheel buggy is that they can be used right from birth (if you are using an adapter for car seats) or even when your child is a little older and doesn't have to be in a car seat for any longer. They are great for short trips around town or if you require a vehicle capable of handling more rough terrain during your walks.
The reason they are heavier is because they come with more features, and are designed to be more rugged. two in one pram are able to take more punishment. They can often also be folded with the seat on unlike umbrella buggies, which makes them an ideal choice when you have to take it down in a hurry, or if you need your kids to nap at the beach or out and around.
Fabric slings are tucked inside the frame, instead of over it like modulars do - this instantly provides a lower center of gravity and better weight distribution. This makes it easier to push, less prone to kerb pop (no need to put so much brute force on the handlebar to lift the nose above an icy kerb) and just generally more comfortable for your kid(s).
Some of our favourites include the Red Dot award winning duet(tm) - an all-terrain saviour that offers modularity from day one, offering endless seating options for twins or siblings and an incredible design featuring melange and texturous fabrics as well as tailored appeal. You could also choose voyager(tm), the only inline buggy which is two in one and offers modularity, plus many different options. It's built on the iconic sport(tm platform).
4-Wheel
